Mia and Michael got married at Shepstone Gardens in Johannesburg, which was a stunning location – some of the images look like a fairytale, which is perfect for a wedding. As you can tell from the engagement shoot we did as well they are such a lovely couple to photograph – full of fun and laughter and this really comes through in their wedding shoot.

I photographed the Fourie family for a magazine commission. I met the mother, Christelle, on a corporate shoot I did previously and I knew she would make a perfect family shoot. These shots were published in the October issue of Living & Loving magazine.

I really loved photographing Anke and Theuns – they were so in love which made it a real pleasure to capture. You couldn’t tell but we shot all the photographs on the side of the road near Worcester – and we had to scramble over a barbed wire fence with props and a bubble machine!
