Mia and Michael got married at Shepstone Gardens in Johannesburg, which was a stunning location – some of the images look like a fairytale, which is perfect for a wedding. As you can tell from the engagement shoot we did as well they are such a lovely couple to photograph – full of fun and laughter and this really comes through in their wedding shoot.

I did this post-wedding shoot for Lamis and Mieshal on a deserted beach in Blouberg that I discovered just a few days earlier. We were quite worried as it was so windy but as it turned out the wild winds were actually a real help – and they were still so in love I just followed with the camera and let them be themselves.

Frans and Willemien got married at Kleine Vallei in Wellington, which was a really beautiful setting for a wedding with dramatic mountains and beautiful vineyards. Their décor was stunning – I loved the succulents and proteas – it was real proudly South African wedding!

This was another shoot for portfolio. I put the word out that I was after couples to pose for me in their outfits, and Tarryn responded. We decided to shoot next to the road in Rosebank, and these two were perfect models! Justin also happens to be a photographer! Check out his wildlife pics….

Kat is one of my friends, and also one of the most talented make-up artists that I have ever been fortunate to work with. She agreed to pose for me in her wedding dress, and I have to say a big “THANK-YOU” once again! Driving to Tulbagh on a hot day in your wedding dress only to be stood amongst millions of ants gnawing at your ankles can’t be fun! It was worth it though, these are some of my favourites……
