Juané  is the Art director for Leef magazine and it is always very flattering when someone in the magazine industry books you to shoot their  wedding! I am so glad that Juané  and Adriaan booked me! I LOVED every minute! Thanks guys!

There are so many gorgeous details to this wedding and therefore the post is very long! Sorry everyone!

Verkykerskop is the MOST AWESOME venue! It is situated 50 km’s form Harrismith in the Free State and it just consists of a few buildings which constitute a wedding venue (or a relaxing weekend away). The “theme” of the venue is 50′s diner style with elements of shabby chic dotted throughout. This place is my vibe and I would LOVE to shoot there again! I had an awesome weekend and it was so much fun having Niki with me as a second shooter!

Aaaaah, where to start!? When Christi first emailed me I knew that this wedding was going to be fun! She wanted to get married when the Jacaranda trees were in bloom in Pretoria and I can see why!

Christi and Phillip have such a wonderful energy and Christi is ALWAYS laughing. It is quite contagious! They were such a wonderful couple to shoot because they didn’t really need help with posing and were wonderfully spontaneous! I hope that these pictures do their care-free, adeventurous spirits justice!

I have been so lucky of late. I have been shooting at the coolest venues and Arts on Main is NO exception!

Adam and Carmen are such lovely people! Open and welcoming…. and oozing good taste! Everything was ridiculously cool at their wedding. From the bouquet right through to Carmen’s insanely beautiful Ellie Saab dress.

The CowShed is my new venue crush. I was so excited when Kate and Jan booked me for their wedding as I have always wanted to shoot there. What a cool venue?! Nothing says ‘proudly South African’ like a plaashuis and shed! Set between Lydenburg and Dullstroom in the Badfontein Valley, this is a gem of a venue!

Kate chose lovely, soft romantic details for the wedding. I loved the roses accompanied by the gorgeous fairy lights at the venue. what a terrific atmosphere for a wedding! I was absolutely in my element with the soft, creamy light whilst we were doing the couple shoot.

I have so many more shots that I would love to blog but alas. It would take many blog posts. I hope that you enjoy these images as much as I enjoyed creating them!
